Edition 2025 — Gaufest Bad Aibling
As the Gaufest of the Oberlandler Gauverband moves to a different member club each year, the 112th Gaufest in 2025 was not held in Bad Aibling but at another Gau club within the association. This annual change of location is part of the association's tradition and brings the major traditional costume and customs festival to different Upper Bavarian communities.
Like all traditional costume associations in Upper Bavaria, the Oberlandler Gauverband operates on a rotating principle: the Gaufest is hosted by a different member club each year. Thus, in 2025, the 112th Gaufest moved to another association club; the next stop in 2026 will be Bad Aibling.
During the preparatory year 2025, the focus for the Oberlandler Bad Aibling was on the 2026 festival planning: booking the festival tent at Kirchweg in Willing, coordinating with the Willing Burschenverein (80th anniversary) and the Gauverband leadership, designing the program for the two festival weeks, securing patronage, and sponsoring the event series "IN WILLING GEHT'S RUND".
