Overview

The Garchinger Volksfest 2025 once again marked the start of the Volksfest season in the Inn-Salzach region. Ten days of festival tent, amusement rides, and programs for families, seniors, and associations shaped the spring in Garching an der Alz.

The 2025 edition of the Garchinger Volksfest once again followed the proven pattern: the parade, beer tapping ceremony, Senior's Afternoon, Children's Afternoon, and Day of Companies and Associations were the focus of the festival week. The festival tent was filled daily with Bavarian atmosphere, regional bands, and festival-goers from Garching, Mühldorf am Inn, and Altötting.

Families benefited from reduced ride prices on Children's Afternoon, while seniors celebrated their afternoon event with dancing and catering. With a lively festival finale on the May weekend, the Volksfest bid farewell until its next edition in 2026.
