GarbsenLIVE! – The Series

GarbsenLIVE! is the municipal concert and event series of the City of Garbsen. During the summer months, it transforms the Rathausplatz into an open-air stage and a meeting point for all generations. The series includes classical concerts (like the New Hornets concert), cover and tribute shows, comedy nights, and the multi-day dance festival Garbsen goes Beach. All events are free and take place on Rathausplatz in the city center.

Venue

Rathausplatz is centrally located in Garbsen and is excellently connected to Hannover and the region via the S-Bahn line S 5 (Garbsen station) and city bus lines. Seating is limited during concerts; the square invites standing, dancing, and a relaxed summer evening.

Format and Atmosphere

The concept focuses on low barriers to entry: no tickets, no mandatory admission, no reservations. Anyone who wants to can come, listen, stay – or move on. This openness has made the series a Garbsen summer trademark in recent years.
