Overview

The Ganerbenfest 2024 attracted thousands of visitors to Bönnigheim's old town. Five stages, 40 stalls, star run by clubs, Wine Princess, open shopping Sunday — the proven mix of tradition, town festival, and club stage once again proved to be a strong summer highlight in the Ludwigsburg district. Guests from Neukirch and Balatonboglár enriched the program.

Review 2024

The 2024 edition attracted thousands of visitors to the historic old town — the main street, market square, and Cyriakusplatz were filled on all three days. The star run by clubs opened the festival on Friday evening, with costumed participants from the four town districts and the traditional reception by the mayor and Wine Princess in the market square.

On the five stages, rock, pop, and blues bands alternated with choirs, folk music, and dance groups. The Bönnigheim clubs, wineries from the Heuchelberg and Stromberg foothills, and restaurants were present at around 40 stalls. The partner towns Neukirch (Saxony) and Balatonboglár (Hungary) were represented with delegations and folklore performances. The family program — barefoot path, memory games, wheelchair course, sign language games — was very popular.
