Edition 2025 — Galgenberg Festival
The 24th edition of the Galgenberg Festival took place on August 8th and 9th, 2025, at the old gasometer in Aalen. Two evenings with the established dramaturgy of a local Friday and a supra-regional Saturday attracted the regular audience from the Ostalbkreis and beyond.
A summery 24th Edition
In August 2025, guests at the Aalen gasometer experienced two warm summer evenings with live music. The Kulturfreunde Galgenberg e.V. association continued its established concept: Friday was reserved for local Aalen acts, and Saturday featured supra-regional voices. The festival grounds were well-attended for the 24th edition; the weather-protected stage and the cozy industrial atmosphere around the old gas tanks remained the hallmarks.
Financial pillar for the association
With the proceeds from tickets and catering, the Kulturfreunde Galgenberg association finances the ongoing maintenance of the venue and the year-round cultural program. In 2025, the event was again supported by volunteer work — from the helpers at the bar to the stage setup.
