Overview

In 2025, the Füssen Volksfest once again attracted the residents of Füssen and guests from the Ostallgäu region to the Kemptener Straße fairground for twelve days, featuring a festival tent, amusement rides, Allgäu beer, and a classic folk festival program.

The town of Füssen has been holding the Volksfest as a fixed major event in its calendar for years. In 2025, the festival followed the proven pattern: opening evening with beer tapping, full festival operation on the weekend, quieter weekdays in the middle of the week, a grand Bavarian Day, and a festival finale on the closing weekend.

The festival tent, amusement rides, and Allgäu brewery beer remained the central pillars. Guests from neighboring municipalities (Schwangau, Halblech, Pfronten, Roßhaupten) and from the wider Ostallgäu region formed the regular audience.
