Overview

The Furtwangen Fasnet 2025 took place as usual, without the Landscape Meeting: Narrenbaum raising, Hemdglunkerumzug, and a smaller local Narrensprung on Fasnet Sunday. The major event with 28 VSAN guilds and 17 guest guilds is planned for 2026, on the occasion of the Narrenzunft's double anniversary.

Furtwangen Fasnet 2025

The Furtwangen Fasnet 2025 took place in its regular format – without the VSAN Landscape Meeting, which is only held every few years in changing locations. The Narrenzunft Furtwangen organized its traditional events: Narrenbaum raising, Hemdglunkerumzug, Fasnetsmontag parade, and Schmotziger Donnerstag.

The double anniversary in 2026 – 100 years of the Narrenzunft, 75 years of the VSAN, 125 years of the Narrenmarsch – was prepared starting in the summer of 2025 in the Black Forest community. The guild established a festival committee, the program was coordinated with the VSAN, and the arrival of 28 member guilds plus 17 guest guilds was organized. The 2026 Landscape Meeting will be the biggest Fasnet event in Furtwangen in decades.
