Overview

In 2025, the FU Berlin Summer Festival with Campus Run also took place on a Thursday afternoon in June. In front of the Holzlaube on the Dahlem Campus, the children's run started at 4:30 PM, followed by the Campus Run with four distances at 5:15 PM, and the awards ceremony and live music from 6:30 PM. Admission to the festival was free, run registrations were required in advance as usual.

The 2025 edition ran under similar conditions as always. The weather was mild and sunny, with clear skies at sunset — good conditions for the live bands in the evening. The Campus Run had its usual 800–1,200 participants: students and university staff dominated the scene.

The bands were student acts and smaller Berlin indie bands, selected through the open call. The awareness team was on site as always, in yellow vests with the FU logo. The festival ended as planned around 9:15 PM — afterwards, students traditionally move on to bars in Dahlem-Dorf or nearby Schöneberg.
