Edition 2023 — Frundsbergfest
The Frundsbergfest 2023 took place from late June to early July 2023 in Mindelheim's old town. As the festival only occurs every three years, 2023 was the last edition before 2026. Ten days of historical festival with camp life, city festival, battle reenactments, and two grand parades, supported by around 2,500 Mindelheim participants in historical costumes.
Looking Back at 2023
The Frundsbergfest 2023 followed the proven concept: camp life on the festival weekends, city festival with historical market, guild parade, battle reenactments, and two grand parades on the festival Sundays. Thousands of participants in handmade costumes and numerous horses made the festival one of the largest historical festivals in Southern Germany. The next edition is scheduled for 2026.
