Fritz-Reuter-Festspiele Stavenhagen

The 2025 Fritz-Reuter-Festspiele continued the decades-long tradition: Stavenhagen's market square became an open-air stage for Low German theatre, music, and literature. The first part of »Ut de Franzosentid« was the main production, which will be continued in 2026 with a second part.

As in previous years, the festival combined sophisticated literary preservation with a folk festival atmosphere. In addition to the theatre, the programme included musical events and family activities. The festival reaffirmed its status as a fixture in the cultural life of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
