Edition 2025 — Soldiers' Pilgrimage Vierzehnheiligen
In 2025, the Peace and Soldiers' Pilgrimage on the first Sunday in May once again brought reservists, soldiers' comradeships, and pilgrims to the Basilica Vierzehnheiligen. A Sunday morning with bright sunshine, flag escorts, a festive church service, and a prayer for peace marked the 68th edition.
2025 Retrospective
On Sunday, May 4, 2025, the annual Soldiers' Pilgrimage took place. Numerous reservists, soldiers' comradeships, and pilgrims marched to the Basilica Vierzehnheiligen under bright sunshine. Flag escorts framed the procession. The festive church service — celebrated by a friar from the monastery and musically accompanied by a reserve officer at the organ — combined faith, remembrance of the fallen, and a commitment to peace and democratic values.
