Overview

The Fridolinsfest and Fridolinsrummel 2025 took place from March 3rd to 11th in Bad Säckingen. The festival days were March 6th (market and festive church service) and March 9th (procession). The relic procession of Saint Fridolin, as every year, drew thousands of faithful and onlookers to the Trumpeter Town.

2025 Edition

The Fridolinsfest 2025 ran according to the classic format. The funfair at the Schlosspark festival grounds opened as early as March 3rd and ended on March 11th. On Thursday, March 6th, the traditional large market took place along Scheffelstraße and Aushilfsstraße with over 90 stalls, culminating in the festive church service at the Fridolinsmünster.

Sunday, March 9th, was the procession day. After the Pontifical High Mass, the procession formed with costume groups from Swiss Glarus, altar servers, and music bands. The relic shrine was led through the old town by eight bearers – with mild March weather, thousands of onlookers lined the route.
