Overview

The Freisinger Palmdult 2025, as always, was held in spring before Easter at Marienplatz and Obere Hauptstraße. Around 50 stalls offered their classic Dult mix of household goods, textiles, sweets, and snacks. The Sunday shopping event and the small children's carousel characterized the weekend as usual. Organizer: Aktive City Freising.

In 2025, Marienplatz once again opened its doors in spring for the Palmdult and the popular pre-Easter weekend for Freising's retail sector. Around 50 exhibitors set up their stalls along Obere Hauptstraße and around Marienplatz — from pan vendors to bratwurst stands and Magenbrot sellers. The Dult was accompanied by the Easter Egg Haferl Market and the Sunday shopping event of the city centre shops.

The Palmdult is part of a Dult trio organized by the city marketing association Aktive City Freising throughout the year: Spring Dult, Palmdult, and Kirchweih Dult are the fixed dates in the event calendar of the episcopal city in the Freising district.
