Overview
The 2025 season ran from mid-May to the end of September at the open-air stage in Volkspark Friedrichshain. The program included: current film releases, documentaries, German Film Award nominees, classics. Partners: radioeins, Hofbräu München, tipBerlin, taz. Premieres often sold out. Screenings daily from dusk (9:00–9:30 PM).
The 2025 season ran from mid-May to the end of September with a daily program. The focus was — as always at Freiluftkino Friedrichshain — on curated film releases, documentaries, German Film Award nominees, and a packed special program on weekends (family screenings, premieres, themed evenings).
The grandstand seats around 2,000 people; the biggest premiere screenings in 2025 were, as experience shows, completely sold out. Main media partner radioeins (rbb) promoted the program weekly on its station.
