Anniversary Season 2025 — 100 Years of Freilichtspiele
The 2025 season marked the 100th anniversary of Freilichtspiele Schwäbisch Hall. In 1925, the tradition began of performing theatre every summer on the monumental staircase in front of St. Michael's Church — a tradition that was celebrated in 2025 with a special anniversary program.
In addition to the main productions, there were special anniversary events, historical reviews of 100 years of theatre on the stairs, showcases of past productions, and several festive ceremonies. The city of Schwäbisch Hall and Freilichtspiele drew a successful conclusion and presented the 2026 season with nine new productions.
