Overview

The 2025 edition of the Frankfurt Christmas Market ran from November 24th to December 22nd at the traditional city center locations. Over 200 stalls, the 26-meter-high Christmas tree on Römerberg, and the tower brass players on St. Nicholas Church shaped the Advent atmosphere in the Main metropolis as every year.

The 2025 edition ran in the established format with an opening at the end of November and market operations until just before Christmas Eve. Despite changeable weather, the market attracted around three million visitors. Highlights included, as always, the switching on of the Christmas tree by the Lord Mayor and the daily tower brass concerts.

Programme

Classic program across six squares: Römerberg as the main location with the Christmas tree, Paulsplatz with the Artists' Christmas Market, Mainkai, Hauptwache, Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz with the rosa Markt, Roßmarkt with an ice rink. Tower brass players daily from St. Nicholas Church, stage program at Römerberg, Advent concerts in the city center churches.
