Overview

In 2025, the Frankfurter Fastnachtszug also paraded on Carnival Sunday from 12:21 PM from Untermainkai to Römerberg. Again, around 90 clubs and associations, traditional pre-parade program at Römerberg from 11 AM, several hours of spectacle, and thousands of onlookers in the city center.

The 2024/25 season concluded on Carnival Sunday with the traditional parade. As in previous years, the Großer Rat der Karnevalvereine Frankfurt am Main e. V. acted as the organizer: route Untermainkai → Roßmarkt → Töngesgasse → Römerberg, pre-parade party, and closing ceremony at Römerberg. Participation was again around 90 clubs.

Programme

Classic schedule: Pre-program at Römerberg from 11 AM, start of the parade at 12:21 PM at Untermainkai, finale at Römerberg around 4:45 PM. Route and participant lineup as in previous years.
