The 31st Frankenhäuser Fliederfest took place on the first weekend of May 2025. The coronation of the new Lilac Queen Eileen, amusement rides on the Schlossplatz, children's theatre, and the traditional Sunday morning pint (Frühschoppen) characterized the three-day folk festival in the brine spa town.
Frankenhäuser Fliederfest 2025 — Review
The 31st edition of the Frankenhäuser Fliederfest 2025 continued the tradition established in 1994. Eileen was crowned the new Lilac Queen — she represented the town throughout 2025 and at numerous regional events. The festival remained the central summer opening in the Bad Frankenhausen town center with amusement rides, children's theatre, a dance evening, and a Sunday morning pint (Frühschoppen).
