The 50th edition of the Fränkische Weihnacht in 2025 marked an anniversary for one of Upper Franconia's oldest Advent markets. Bad Rodach's market and castle square were filled with huts in Franconian house facades, handicrafts, mulled wine, a service in the Johanneskirche, and a family program.

At the 2025 anniversary edition, Bad Rodach celebrated 50 years of Fränkische Weihnacht. On the market and castle square, regional exhibitors offered handicrafts, carvings, nativity scenes, Coburger Schmätzchen, mulled wine, and bratwurst. The nostalgic wooden huts, designed as Franconian house facades with imitation half-timbering and shingled roofs, characterized the scene.

The ecumenical service in the Johanneskirche at 4 p.m. and the accompanying musical program attracted visitors from all over the Coburg region. With its 50th anniversary, the Fränkische Weihnacht definitively established itself as a fixed Advent destination in Upper Franconia.
