Edition 2025 — Gartenfest Mitwitz
The 18th edition of the Fränkisches Gartenfest at Wasserschloss Mitwitz took place from May 29th (Ascension Day) to June 1st, 2025. Four festival days with around 70 exhibitors, the 18th Mitwitz Artists' Market, live demonstrations by glassblowers and knife grinders, and a family program with Shetland ponies. Open daily from 10 am to 6 pm (last admission 5 pm). Admission €10 at the day ticket office, concession €8.
For four festival days from Ascension Day, May 29th to Sunday, June 1st, 2025, the Fränkisches Gartenfest presented its traditional sales fair for garden and lifestyle in its 18th edition in the castle park of Wasserschloss Mitwitz.
Around 70 exhibitors offered plants of all kinds – from fragrant roses and magnificent perennials to Mediterranean olive trees and exotic rarities. The 18th Mitwitz Artists' Market complemented the sales fair with paintings, graphics, woodwork, collages, and jewelry by regional and supra-regional artists. Children could craft, paint, and ride Shetland ponies for free.
