In 2025, the Forster Christmas Market opened its stalls for the first time over four days — from December 11th to 14th — around St. Nicholas Town Church. The stage program included performances by children (music, singing, poems) on December 12th and the 'Melodious Forster Christmas' on December 13th with choirs, country, and Christmas rock. Santa Claus visited the market daily; baking stick bread over an open fire at 5 p.m. was again a popular program item. The organizer was the town of Forst (Lausitz).
