Overview

The FORMOSA Bierfest 2025 once again saw a full house at Zeche Carl: hosts FORMOSA played alongside other rock acts from the Ruhr area to a good-humored audience. The specially brewed craft beer of the 2025 vintage was, as always, quickly sold out.

Review 2025

As every year since its premiere in 2022, the FORMOSA Bierfest 2025 combined rock concerts and craft beer enjoyment in the unique industrial atmosphere of Zeche Carl. The mix of established Ruhr area acts and an international guest (in previous years often Psychobilly or Punk Rock) attracted a diverse audience.

Beer Highlight

In 2025 too, the guitarist and master brewer of FORMOSA brewed a beer recipe developed especially for the festival evening. The 1,500 liters in the Zeche Carl beer garden were, as always, gone faster than expected.
