Overview

The Forchheim Christmas Market 2025 attracted traditional crowds from the Franconian Switzerland, the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region, and all of Upper Franconia to the royal city on the Wiesent from November 28 to Christmas Eve. The nativity trail, model railway, light projection, and 25 illuminated stalls once again characterized the Advent season.

As every year, the First Mayor opened the Forchheim Christmas Market 2025 on the opening Friday at 5 p.m. For four weeks, the wooden stalls around the Imperial Palace attracted families and Advent fans for strolling, mulled wine, and Christmas shopping.

The nativity trail, the model railway in the Imperial Palace, and the evening light projection onto the palace facade were once again among the most photographed program items. The city's eleven breweries also provided a lively accompanying gastronomic program.
