The 2025 FOLKUS series once again gathered folk and dance enthusiasts for three editions at the Old Crane Works Naunhof. Spring, Summer, and Autumn each offered distinct regional focuses with concerts, dance balls, and workshops in the repurposed industrial building.

FOLKUS 2025

In 2025, the Old Crane Works Naunhof continued its FOLKUS festival series with three editions. Each of the three weekends offered its own regional focuses — Eastern Europe, Western Europe, and the contemporary folk scene — and combined concerts with subsequent dance balls.

The venue's independent management, its focus on high-quality folk and world music, and its accessible dance atmosphere made the FOLKUS series one of Central Germany's most distinctive and enduring folk festival series in 2025 as well. The 2026 series builds on this success.
