Edition 2025 — Folk for Friends
The 8th Steinheimer Highland Games took place in 2025, as usual on the last Saturday of August — Celtic Open Air with Celtic bands, Highland competitions, and a Scottish village. Junge Kultur Steinheim e.V. once again organized the event on a voluntary basis, with the usual mix of live music, whisky tasting, and Scottish-Celtic atmosphere.
Folk for Friends 2025
The 2025 edition was the 8th iteration of the Steinheimer Highland Games. In the tried-and-tested format on the last Saturday of August, the festival once again drew folk fans and Highland competitors from all over Germany to Steinheim in the Hochstift Paderborn.
Four to five bands on stage, parallel Highland Games with teams from all over Germany, whisky tasting in the Scottish village, and Guinness on tap — like every year, a small Scottish enclave in East Westphalia.
