Edition 2025 — Lichterwoche Föhr

The Föhrer Lichterwoche 2025 ran from October 23 to 27, 2025. The light artists from Kystlys created projections at five different island locations, including Wrixum, Oldsum, and Wyk auf Föhr. The date originally planned for Nieblum had to be canceled due to a severe storm — a risk that is part of Föhr's autumn. Free admission, daily from 7:00 PM–9:30 PM.

Lichterwoche 2025

The second edition in 2025 confirmed the concept and definitively established the Lichterwoche as a permanent fixture in Föhr's cultural calendar. The light artists Kystlys delivered their characteristic large projections at four out of five planned locations — the evening originally planned for Nieblum had to be canceled due to a storm warning. The remaining locations (Wrixum, Oldsum, Wyk, and another venue) attracted thousands of visitors, many of them families on autumn break.
