The 2025 Apfelfahrt continued the traditional connection between the Glücksburg apple harvest and the Flensburg Museum Harbour. Traditional ships brought the apples across the fjord, and the market at the Bohlwerk attracted thousands of visitors from Schleswig-Holstein and Southern Jutland over the weekend.
In autumn 2025, the historic sailing ships of the Museum Harbour once again docked at the Bohlwerk with a full cargo. Despite the changeable fjord weather, the apple ships were undeterred and brought the harvest from Glücksburg to the city centre. The market bustled as usual: apple pressing, the aroma of smoked fish, folk music, and the German-Danish crowd savouring the charm of the Flensburg autumn.
