Overview
For more than ten years, it was quiet around the Flensburg Dragon Boat Race – until it returned in 2025 as a comeback edition. The Lions Club Flensburg-Schiffbrücke and the Leo Club Flensburg dared to make a new start and were rewarded with a great response: the Hafenspitze became a meeting point for teams, families, and onlookers on a summer day.
The Nord-Ostsee Sparkasse (NOSPA), as the main sponsor, and other regional supporters made the comeback possible. The surplus benefited regional social projects. In 2026, the format enters its first regular follow-up edition – as the second run since its revival.
