Flammender Scharmützelsee 2025 combined light art on the water, open-air concerts, and food trucks into a three-day Volksfest in Bad Saarow. Thousands of visitors from the greater Berlin area preferred the Festival of Lights over a traditional Volksfest – and appreciated its unique visual focus.

Flammender Scharmützelsee 2025

The 2025 Festival of Lights continued the long-standing tradition – light installations on the Scharmützelsee, an open-air stage, food trucks, and a family programme characterized the September weekend in Bad Saarow.

With its visual focus and location directly on the lake, the festival positions itself as one of Brandenburg's most atmospheric Volksfeste. Free admission.
