The Finsterwalder Chamber Music Festival took place in March 2025, as is tradition, at the Kulturweberei Finsterwalde. Six concerts by renowned ensembles formed the predecessor edition to the 2026 "Longing" theme.

As every year in March, the 2025 Finsterwalder Chamber Music Festival transformed the Kulturweberei into a venue for six chamber concerts. The program, organized by the Finsterwalder Kammermusik-Festival e.V., maintained the established mix of classical canon, song recitals, and works by contemporary composers, preparing the audience for the 2026 edition under the motto "Longing."
