The 29th edition of Filmfest Schleswig-Holstein took place in March 2025 in Kiel. With over 60 films from and about Schleswig-Holstein, the festival once again confirmed its position as a central meeting point for the North German film scene.

Filmfest Schleswig-Holstein 2025 brought filmmakers, actors, and film fans to Kiel for six days. With over 60 films – short, medium, and feature films, the BLICKFANG program, and out-of-competition screenings – the festival offered a packed schedule. Film talks, Q&A sessions with directors, and workshops for young filmmakers complemented the main program. Organizers Filmkultur Schleswig-Holstein and Kino in der Pumpe have set the course for the anniversary year 2026 with the 29th edition.
