Edition 2025 — Filderkrautfest
The 47th Filderkrautfest took place from October 17th to 19th, 2025, in the centre of Echterdingen — with brilliant autumn weather and thousands of visitors. The cabbage cutting competition, live music on several stages, dance performances, amusement rides, a vintage car show, late-night shopping, and culinary specialities centred around the Filderspitzkohl once again characterized Germany's largest Krauthocketse.
47th Filderkrautfest — October 2025
In October 2025, the centre of Echterdingen transformed for the 47th time into Germany's largest "Krauthocketse". With pleasantly warm autumn weather, the festival attracted thousands of visitors from the Stuttgart region and across the country — the Swabian specialities centred around the Filderspitzkohl, the live music programme, and the family entertainment once again worked perfectly.
The Filderkrautfest once again proved itself as a high-quality family Volksfest and an effective brand for the town of Leinfelden-Echterdingen. The 48th edition will follow in 2026 on the weekend of October 16th to 18th.
