Overview
In 2025, the Fettmarkt with Kirmes already attracted thousands of visitors from the Münsterland to Warendorf. The large fairground on the Lohwall, the Sunday shopping with market activity, and the traditional Fettmarkt Wednesday with its flea market continued the centuries-old market tradition of the equestrian city. Showmen, market vendors, and flea market sellers made the Fettmarkt a fixed date in the Münsterland event calendar and paved the way for the 2026 edition.
The 2025 edition confirmed the Fettmarkt as the most important autumn folk festival in the Münsterland. For five days, Warendorf transformed into a pilgrimage site for fairground enthusiasts, Sunday shoppers, and flea market fans. The City of Warendorf and the showmen then began preparing for the 2026 edition.
