During the Festspielsommer 2025, the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern also held concerts in the Krakow am See region or Gross Grabow. As in previous years, rural Mecklenburg was included in the concert calendar of the renowned classical music festival — typical of the programming philosophy of bringing classical music to places where it is otherwise absent.
The Festspielsommer 2025 of the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern was part of a continuous concert calendar that spanned the state from Schwerin to rural Mecklenburg. Concerts around Krakow am See and in the Kulturhaus Gross Grabow were among the rural venues that the festival has systematically included in its program for years.
