The Fest der Fantasie 2025

On the second weekend of August 2025, the park of Schloss Drachenburg above Königswinter once again opened for the Fest der Fantasie. As in previous years, 30 artists from eight nations presented a continuous program between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. — acrobatics, Cyr Wheel, clowning, puppetry, magic, unicycling artistry, and musical acts.

The festival once again confirmed its concept: international street art at a high level in the unique ambiance of the late-Romantic castle complex and with the unmistakable view of the Siebengebirge and the Rhine. With capacities limited to 2,000 spots per day and a mix of families from the Rhein-Sieg district and art-interested audiences from all over NRW, the 2025 edition provided the basis for the 2026 program.
