Overview

The Festa Italiana 2025 from July 11 to 13 was dedicated to the Cecina-Gilching partnership. A highlight was the unveiling of the renovated partnership sculpture Paci Dictatum 2.0 in the presence of Cecina's mayor. Italian live music, Tuscan specialties, and a three-day family program characterized the festival.

The Festa Italiana 2025 was opened on Friday, July 11, starting at 4:00 PM by Gilching's First Mayor. Dance performances by the Gilching Dance Center and appearances by the Edelweiß Marching Band and the band Musica Ribelle marked the opening evening.

On Saturday, the partnership sculpture Paci Dictatum 2.0 was ceremoniously unveiled in the presence of Cecina's mayor, Lia Burgalassi. The evening featured a dance concert with Gabriele Ricci. Sunday began with the classic Weißwurst breakfast (from 11:00 AM) and concluded with a concert by the Trio Salato. A varied children's program accompanied the festival on all three days. Opening hours: Friday 4 PM–12 AM, Saturday 12 PM–12 AM, Sunday 11 AM–10 PM.
