Overview

2025 was entirely dedicated to the preparation for the World Championship. The ALRV announced the countdown at the "500 days to go" mark, ticket sales began, and the volunteer program was advertised. In parallel, the CHIO Aachen took place in July 2025, as every year, serving as the most important preparation event for many athletes.

2025 was a year of preparation for Aachen for the 2026 World Championship. The Soers facility underwent technical upgrades, the ticket shop went online, and marketing launched with the "Welcome Home" campaign. In July 2025, the CHIO Aachen took place as usual – the largest equestrian tournament in the world and the most important test run for many athletes preparing for the World Championship conditions. The German Equestrian Federation documentation published the 500-day countdown with a detailed event roadmap.

Programme

2025 – Preparation year. CHIO Aachen as a preparatory tournament. Expansion of the volunteer program, opening of the ticket shop, press work under the motto "Welcome Home".
