Overview
The Federweißerfest 2025 at the Thuringian Winery Bad Sulza once again attracted numerous Federweißer and wine lovers from Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt, and all of Central Germany. Fresh Federweißer, autumn specialties, cellar tours, and a visit from the Thuringian Wine Princess were part of the regular program.
As every year in September, the freshly fermented must of the current vintage was served in the Sonnendorf district. Onion cake from the wood-fired oven, tarte flambée, and vintner burgers attracted visitors to the stalls, and the cellar tours were once again well attended. The festival weekend confirmed the Thuringian Winery's reputation as the most important destination in Germany's northernmost wine-growing region.
