Edition 2024 — FAVORITEN
The FAVORITEN biennial 2024 was the last edition before the change in leadership. With a programme from the independent performing arts scene of North Rhine-Westphalia, the festival further established its role as a showcase for the state's independent theatre, dance, and performance culture.
The 2024 edition of FAVORITEN was the last under the previous artistic direction. Dance, theatre, and performance productions from the NRW scene filled various venues in Dortmund for eleven days — from established houses to unusual off-spaces.
