Garden Market in the Castle Park

Faszination Garten auf Schloss Weingartsgreuth is a renowned garden market in Wachenroth, in the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt in the Bavarian state of Bavaria. Since 1998, the event has transformed the park, castle courtyard, and castle hall of Schloss Weingartsgreuth into a stage for horticulture, garden art, and enjoyment. The spring edition in 2026 will take place from May 15th to 17th.

Plants, Art, and Enjoyment

Across approximately 19,000 m² of exhibition space, around 100 exhibitors present everything related to the garden: plant rarities, seeds and flower bulbs, garden furniture, planters, and garden tools, garden literature and antiques, stone troughs, as well as garden art. Around 30 specialist nurseries showcase their rare plants and invite visitors to purchase them. Expert lectures and discussions complete the program.

Atmosphere and Music

The special charm comes from the castle's backdrop: visitors stroll through lovingly designed stands in the park, the castle courtyard, and the castle hall, accompanied by live music. Regional culinary delights cater to physical well-being. Faszination Garten takes place twice a year – in spring and autumn. The autumn edition in 2026 is scheduled for September 26th and 27th. This makes the market a fixed date for garden lovers from Franconia and beyond.
