Edition 2025 — Faasendumzug Dillingen
The 2025 Dillingen carnival parade took place on Fat Thursday, February 27, 2025, through the city center — with a town hall storming and strong participation from carnival clubs from Dillingen and the neighboring Saarlouis district. On Friday, February 28, the Diefflen parade followed.
In 2025, the Dillingen 'Faasend' clubs were not deterred by wind or weather. The parade on Fat Thursday attracted thousands of spectators along the route, the town hall storming proceeded with the usual spectacle. The subsequent party in the Römerhalle Pachten and the traditional Diefflen parade on Friday rounded off the two-day peak season.
Programme
Program 2025 as in previous years: Assembly from 1 PM on Hoyerswerdaplatz, town hall storming at 2:45 PM, parade through the city center to the Saardom and onwards towards Pachten, 'Faasend' party in the Römerhalle. The following day, the Diefflen parade starts at 4:11 PM at the Diefflen community center.
