Overview

The Unna Family Christmas Market 2025 ran for approximately six weeks from mid-November until just before Christmas, as in previous years. With the Punch and Judy show since 1976 as a distinctive tradition, the Elf Village children's area, and the Mistletoe Arch, the market was one of the most popular Advent events in the Unna district.

2025 Review

The Unna Family Christmas Market 2025 followed the established program format with a 40-day run across Rathausplatz, Bahnhofstraße, and Marktplatz. The program highlights — the daily Punch and Judy show from 3 PM to 5:15 PM, Elf Village as a children's area, Mistletoe Arch as a romantic photo spot, and the stage program with choir performances and live music — were also maintained in 2025.

As in previous years, the club huts from kindergartens, schools, and regional artists with their charitable offerings shaped the market's character as a true family and community event. Admission remained free, and the market connection across the three squares was a central element of the strolling experience.
