Overview
The 2025 Scything Championship took place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Meisdorf. Renate Bischof (Meisdorf) won among the women, and Manfred Ketzer (Pansfelde) among the men. The competition was accompanied by the Meisdorf Brass Band and the Opperode Men's Choir.
The 2025 edition of the Falkenstein Scything Championship on May 17, 2025, once again attracted mowers from all over the Vorharz region to the Long Meadow in Meisdorf. The competitions proceeded as usual — individual and team rankings, four judges, evaluation of speed and cutting quality.
