Edition 2025 — Fairy Tale Festival Trendelburg
The 11th Fairy Tale Festival at Trendelburg Castle took place on Ascension Day 2025. As in previous years, the combination of knight tournaments, Rapunzel's ascent, blacksmithing for children, and fire acrobatics attracted thousands of visitors to the castle grounds – free admission.
The 11th edition in 2025 continued the series of annual fairy tale festivals: on Ascension Day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the castle transformed into an immersive medieval and fairy tale world.
Programme
Program from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with knight tournaments by Freyschar zu Bokenrode, archery, Rapunzel tower ascent, blacksmithing for children, puppet theater, fire acrobatics, snake shows, and medieval market. Free admission.
