Overview
In 2025, the Mainschleifen-Fährenfestival did not take place as scheduled. The festival is held every two years, so after the 2024 festival, the next edition was set for July 2026. During the interim period, local clubs and vintners used the time for smaller winery festivals and wine tastings in Wipfeld, Fahr, and Obereisenheim.
Break Year 2025
Since the Mainschleifen-Fährenfestival only takes place every two years, 2025 was a break year. Wipfeld wineries hosted smaller winery festivals and wine tastings, and the Main ferry operated as usual. The next regular edition of the ferry festival is scheduled for July 18th and 19th, 2026.
