Edition 2025 — ExtraSchicht Bochum
The 2025 edition of ExtraSchicht once again brought the industrial culture of the Ruhr area to life for one night. In Bochum, the Jahrhunderthalle was a central venue. Thousands of visitors moved between 40 locations in 18 cities — supported by the shuttle and public transport system.
The 2025 edition continued the tradition since 2001: a joint night festival for the entire region. Bochum's Jahrhunderthalle, as always, offered a monumental industrial culture atmosphere.
Programme
An eight-hour industrial culture marathon across 40 venues in 18 cities of the Ruhr area, coordinated with shuttle buses and free VRR public transport.
