Edition 2025 — Ettlinger Marktfest
The Ettlinger Marktfest 2025 once again brought together the clubs and caterers of the 'Große Kreisstadt'. For three days, the historic old town was the venue for catering stands, a stage program, and family entertainment — one of the most important summer festivals at the gateway to the Northern Black Forest.
Marktfest 2025
The Ettlinger Marktfest 2025 took place, as in previous years, on a late August weekend. The city of Ettlingen remained the organizer, coordinating the festival with Ettlingen's clubs and associations.
The historic old town with its market square, castle square, and Marktstraße has been the venue for the Marktfest for decades. The baroque setting — especially Ettlingen Castle with its sandstone walls — gives the festival a unique character. The Marktfest is the highlight of the city's summer event calendar, alongside the Ettlingen Castle Festival, which holds its final performances in the castle courtyard concurrently.
