Overview
In 2025, ESSTIVAL entered its second round, using the «700 Years of the Stone Krämerbrücke» anniversary as a framework for an expanded enjoyment festival. Erfurt's gastronomy from Krämerbrücke and Wenigemarkt opened outdoor areas for an evening festival that developed into a new highlight in Erfurt's event calendar with live music and light installations. The city of Erfurt drew a positive conclusion in 2025 and gave the green light for a third edition in 2026.
ESSTIVAL Erfurt 2025
The second edition of ESSTIVAL took place as part of the «700 Years of the Stone Krämerbrücke» anniversary year. The format has established itself as a fixture after its successful premiere in 2024: a mix of gastronomy, music, and light art that brings the unique bridge to life in the evenings.
