Overview
The 2025 edition continued the more than 40-year tradition of the festival. As always, the parade brought together the local guilds, the harvest queen, the riders, and the tractor enthusiasts from Blekendorf, accompanied by marching bands from Oldenburg and Plön.
On the festival meadow at the Dörpshus, the historic threshing machine was once again a crowd-pleaser, alongside the ring riding by the riding guild — a traditional equestrian game where riders must hit a ring with a lance from a gallop. Performances by local music groups and a family program rounded off the afternoon, which ended with the dance ball in the evening.
