The eighth edition of erLESEN! featured 40 events at twelve venues across Saarland. It opened on April 2, 2025, at the Theater am Ring in Saarlouis with Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt. Many readings were sold out.
The eighth edition of erLESEN! took place from April 2 to 13, 2025, with over 40 events, 20 organizers, and twelve venues — the densest program since the festival's start in 2018.
The opening reading featured Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt on April 2 at the Theater am Ring in Saarlouis. Another highlight was Cordula Stratmann on April 10 at the Gebläsehalle Neunkirchen. Also featured were Tijan Sila, Isabel Bogdan, and Harald Martenstein.
